Pastor Ty Childers Study

Rev. Ty Childers joined Fairview as Senior Pastor in December of 2007. He has been in the ministry for more than 25 years having served Southern Baptist churches in Landrum,SC; Toccoa, Ga and Honea Path, SC.

Rev. Childers is a graduate of Fruitland Bible College, holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary and is currently completing work for a Masters Degree in Ministry. He has also completed studies at Liberty University and Mid-Atlantic Bible and Seminary .

He is a native of Spartanburg and is married to the former Janice Jonas. They have three children, Jonathan, Travis and Anna.
